Queen Kanara's Blade

The Crown of the Eternal King. While anyone may wear it, only those with magical powers are able to utilize its gifts. It temporarily grants a boost of power, all the mana stored within it being available to the wearer, but takes a part of the users mana and soul in return. Over time, this effectively drains the unfortunate victim of both soul and mana. In the end it leaves an empty husk that withers away into nothingness, leaving the crown free to search for its next victim.   The crown is a trap, made by the Eternal King to act as a storage for his power and has taken on a will of its own (that is still part of the King's will). As such it continues the King's ambition to be the sole bearer of Mana in the entire world, drawing more and more mana into itself, always waiting for the day that its rightful owner reclaims it. You never listen do you? Its not someone that is returning but something! What? What is returning? Its Gamorha! The Endless City is returning!   Everything will return. Not just the Fae and the Eternal Army. But the Yule Abominations. The Krigan Hordes. The Nightmare King with his army of Meanwhiles and Neverwheres. The War turned into hell! The Dwarfs revel in fighting; they love the combat to be as up close and personal as possible. Especially if they have a grudge (usually a given anyway). They are a great enemy for the Orks in that way really, who also love a good scrap.   When the Dwarfs do decide they need better weaponry to defeat their enemy, they turn to guns and artillery instead of spears and other 'sissy' weapons that they associate with Elves and Goblins and other hated foes.   Spears might seem logical, but they are very much against the character of the Dwarfs as a race.
