Royal Certificate

A royal certificate is a document signifying that an action has taken place with royal approval or through royal will. They are common in that sense that every royal court, be they Feran King, Illigaran Raja or Vardanian Primarch, issues them. Additionally, they are almost always the same. Differences may occur in terms of names used, decorum and style, but at the core every royal certificat is made of the same building blocks. Beginning with the creator of the document, a list of names and titles that have been "earned" by them over the course of their life. This is then followed by a section stating the purpose of the specific document. Land grants, tax levies, bestowing of titles, removal or granting of priveleges and titles, sanctioning of actions such as marriages, campaigns or buisness ventures, gifts to the church and so on. A full list of actions done via the Royal Certificats would probably take hours to complete. The third section may contain a certain frame of time, wherein the previously mentioned action may take place. Additionally, it contains the punishment for not following through with one's obligation. In many cases the boon granted by the certificat is recieved in turn for a deed. Should this not come to pass then a variety of things may happen. The penultimate section contains a list of people that have been present at the creation of the document. This is to verify the authenticity of the certificate. Finally, there is the signature of the monarch in question, often a strange mixture of initials and numbers. This is a code unique to each monarch and cannot be 100% accurately be replicated. This does not mean that there are no fakes or copy attempts. Depending on effort or quality of the copy they can range anywhere from ridicolously easy to detect to nearly indistinguishable.
