Fuzzball
A vicious, long haired predator that hunts in packs of four to eight. Most people would describe them as just a slobbering fanged mouth with no fear and a limitless appetite. Their hair is full of leaves and sticks and mold and reinforces their wild untamed appearance. It also makes them nearly impossible to spot when they are still. Their yellow eyes, focused and following, are usually the first and last things the prey ever sees. They enjoy a substantial ambush bonus.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Four-limbed, as gainly on two legs as on four. And while their hind limbs are powerful for leaping, their forelimbs are relatively weak. The digits at the end of their forelimbs form a single hook-shaped claw between two smaller hooked claws and opposed by another moderate sized hooked claw. They do not use their claws as weapons, but to snag into their prey and pull themselves nice, tight and close. Their oversized mouths are their weapons.
They have two concentric rows of teeth on somewhat independent inner and outer jaws. The outer teeth will bite and hold while the inner teeth chew to swallow. Once they bite their prey they will not let go until that meal is consumed. In this manner, and in numbers, they will overwhelm their prey with their combined weight and consume it alive in very little time.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Fuzzballs are utterly fearless. They hunt the largest creatures they can find. They rely on their swarming tactics to take them down. Then they consume their prey, bones and all. Their hunger is nearly insatiable and they can eat more than their own bodyweight in one sitting. Once feasted, they will return to their lair and sleep for up to a week.
In this way, more than one family unit can hunt in the same territory until the prey becomes scarce, at which time they will prey upon each other until the weaker family leaves the area.

Naming Traditions
When these creatures were first encountered, a relatively newborn was taken to be raised in captivity. Called "Fuzzball" by its captor, the name became synonymous with the species. Even after it bit off the man's hand and escaped, the creatures are still known as Fuzzballs to this day.

Average Physique
Quite slim and muscular, but with so much hair they appear to be full and wide and much larger.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Their hair is brownish, but with so much forest litter and mold, they appear to be camoflauge.
Fuzzballs are normal SDC monsters, however, their bite is powerful enough and their teeth strong enough to penetrate hardened materials like MD skin and bones. They can even get through MD armor given enough time. On a successful bite attack, a Fuzzball is considered fully grappled with the target. Its front claws will be snagged into the target and the outer teeth will be clamped tightly. Followup attacks by a Fuzzball automatically hit and will do megadamage on a raise. The target of a Fuzzball attack may attempt an opposed strength roll against it to try to break free. This can only be attampted if the target has limbs free to attempt it and should consume all the target's actions. Any successful removal of a Fuzzball from a target carries with it an automatic damage roll from the Fuzzball to account for the invasive means it uses to maintain its hold.
