It relies on amplifying the fight or flight response supernaturally and then tipping it one way or the other.

If the wearer of the mask says the words "War There" the first person to look upon the mask goes berserk and has the immediate desire to physically attack any random person in their vicinity for the next minute, usually fixating upon just one. Any thoughts of using ranged weapons or casting spells is forgotten by the person affected. The affected person is savage and will not hesitate to break down any barrier or overcome any obstacle preventing him or her from attacking the target.

If the wearer of the mask says the words "Wart Here" the first person to look upon the mask becomes utterly repulsed by the mask wearer and attempts to increase the distance between them as quickly as possible for the next minute. A person affected by the mask views self preservation from the mask higher than self preservation from other threats and would jump off a cliff, run though fire or perform other potentially harmful actions in order to stay away from the mask wearer, including trampling over and through friends and innocents.

This item is suspected of being constructed by the mysterious entity known as Entendre.
