The Omen Rift opens through the convergance of several different ley lines in the The Free Lands.
In the 21st Century, the Omen Rift opened when there was a massive loss of life in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The other end of the Rift was in the same physical location, dumping our player characters into Rifts Earth in the year 105 P.A.
