The Wall

The protective wall surrounding Rivervale, standing at a formidable 10 feet tall, serves as a sturdy barrier against the persistent threat of goblin raids. 
Crafted from a combination of wood and stone, it stands as a testament to the halfling community's determination to defend their homeland.  Manned tirelessly by the Rivervale Wardens, the guardians of the city, the wall is vigilantly patrolled day and night to ensure the safety of its inhabitants. With keen eyes and steady hands, the wardens stand ready to repel any goblin incursions with swift and decisive action.
Two sturdy gates punctuate the wall, serving as the primary entry and exit points for travelers and merchants alike. The gates, named "Sunrise Gate" and "Sunset Gate," symbolize the halflings' unwavering resolve to welcome the dawn of each new day with open arms, while also standing firm against the encroaching darkness of the night.
