Slime Spirit

Slime Spirits (also refered to as Half-Slimes) are a very rare race of creatures. They can form in a couple of different ways, but they are all very uncommon to happen naturally and for the most part must be done with the intent of creating one. For the most part, Slime Spirits are peaceful, but attempting to fight one will anger it and cause it to attack.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Slime Spirits have two states: Slime Forme and Humanoid Forme.

In Slime Forme, The creature takes the form of a small ball of a gelatinous mass, or slime. This slime can be different colors and typically refers to the type of slime that it is.

In Humanoid Forme, the creature takes the appearance of a medium humanoid of their preferred gender. Their appearance is typically the same from their first transformation (aside from clothing changes), but some Slime Spirits change their entire appearance often.

Genetics and Reproduction

Slime Spirits don't reproduce, and are instead formed from one of two ways:

When a Slime manages to create a soul bond with a humanoid and the two merge.

OR

If the souls of a lot of Slimes congregate in one location.

Both will result in the creation of a new Slime Spirit.

Growth Rate & Stages

From the beginning, Slime Spirits are fully developed, due to memories from their creation.

Ecology and Habitats

Slime Spirits prefer different locations depending on their types, and tend to stick around regular Slimes of their same type.

Dietary Needs and Habits

While Slime Spirits do not need to eat, they will commonly find a food that they enjoy and occasionally be seen eating that.

Biological Cycle

During winter, it is common for a Slime Spirit with a cold weakness to make their appearance better suited for cold weather. Likewise, during the summer Slime Spirits will adjust to have less chance of melting from the heat.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Slime Spirits in Slime Forme can see all around them at once, but tend to focus their vision to where their 'eyes' are. In Humanoid Forme, their eyesight becomes that of the avarage of whatever humanoid species they are.
