Cult of the Dead Three
Followers of the three Dead Gods: Bane, Bhaal, and Myrkul can be found here and there. A great amassing of their religion is based in Baldur's Gate and has always been tied with their history. Although freedom of religion is allowed in Baldur's Gate, the cult has been grwoing more and more violent as of late. Something the city can no longer ignore.
Structure
A chaotic collection of cultist each following one of the three gods. They seem to organize into ranking systems based off of strength. Although they do seem to have a loose sense of order when working together, the followers of Bane tend to be the ring leaders.
History
The cult follows the Dead Three, demi-gods who were once human bwere granted dominion over different portfolios of the previous god Jergal to become dark gods of their own.

Disbandment
After the party killed most of the cultists and leaders within the Dungeon of the Dead Three below the Nymphs Rest Bathhouse, the remaining members of the cult were forced to disband any previous organized group within the city as their leaders and base of operations were no more.
However cultists still lurk about with no purpose other than to serve their god.
Mythology & Lore
Long ago the dead three were mortal adventurers who seeked the path to godhood. As luck would have it, they met the god of the dead Jergal who through some decision making decided to divide his portfolios amongst the three as he was tired of his duties, and wished to abdicate. Bane took over hate, strife, and domination. Bhaal over death and murder, and Myrkul over the dead. As gods they roamed the lands practicing their dominions, but after attempting to steal the tablet of fate from the great one Lord Ao, they, along with all other gods (except Helm), were stripped of their powers and cast to the material world to walk as mortals. They were grounded basically. Thus began the time of troubles. Through much trouble the three were eventually killed, marking the end of the banishment of the gods, but their ideologies and followings sill exist very prominently throughout Toril.
