Personal history

Myrrim was once a feared and venerated silver dragon that roamed the lands of the sword coast near Candlekeep. One day she accidentally toasted a group of monks and some precious irreplaceable books they were carrying. As punishment, the then first reader Torth sentenced her to 20 years protecting the libraries caves. Unfortunately Torth died 15 years later, and the magic he placed on Myrrim to keep her there was so powerful that no one could undo it. As such she guarded the caves and waited, and eventually died. But even then, the magic was so powerful it stretched beyond the grave and resurrected Myriim as her current spectral form. Forced to protect the caves of Candlekeep forever.
