Sylvira Savikas

Sylvira Savikas was a tiefling archmage and sage who lived and studied in Candlekeep during the late 15th century DR. Her laboratory was located within one of the library-fortresses' circular towers. Sylvira was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Outer Planes and possessed a particular expertise related to magical puzzle boxes.

Personal history

Sylvira has been a sage at Candlekeep for quite some time, she lives there with her niece Chelle and her quasit named Pipyap.
In 1494 a group of adventurers delivered an infernal puzzle box to her which she oppened to reveal Thavius Kreeg's infernal contract. She then sat on the crisis conclave that decided that very group should go to Avernus to free Elturel. 
SHe was last seen defending Candlekeep from a Devil invasion from within the puzzle box.
