Mere of Dead Men
A Swamp on the edge of the Sword Coast, it was at one point a center for civilized trade. Now overrun by creatures, environmental hazards, and an overarching sense of gloom, the Mere of Dead Men is a dangerous place for adventurers and citizens alike. The long abandoned castles and treasures of late leave some amount of reward to the risk.
