Songweaver

A Songweaver is a kind of musician who is granted special magical abilities by Ceridwen which imbues their music with mystical power. Songweavers are sought out across the known world and are sometimes known to become adventurers, styling themselves as Bards. One famous Songweaver is Balkais, later known as Saint Balkais, who helped bring an end to the Gods Plague.

Career

Qualifications

Most Songweavers were already dedicated or talented musicians before receiving Ceridwen's gift and as such it can be expected that most Songweavers are masters or at least proficient in their musical field. Holding an incredible understanding of music in and of itself and its effects on living creatures.

Payment & Reimbursement

Songweavers typically charge for their services although it varies between practitioners. Some are known to charge large sums for performances while others will perform as long as they are provided comfortable accommodations and good food, others still require even less.
