Ashfang's Assault on Chthonia
Below Malus' city of dragons, is a whirlpool upon the wild seas of the Thevagon Isles. Not many people know this, but upon falling directly through this opening, takes oneself to the mystical, forgotten realm of Chthonia, belonging to gods of a long forgotten time. The area resembles a labyrinthine cavern, with many deadly locations and settlements intermixed all around. When four adventurers, aiming to stop the Charred Colossus had taken the plunge inside, it had gained the attention of one of the lesser dragons working for Malus, knowing as Ashfang. It had taken the dragon a few days to amount forces that he had access to, mainly being weaker dragons of similar ideals as him. Unfortunately for him, his ambush was not thought-out well, as his small group of draconic warriors went against the now god-favoured adventurers, as well as those gods themselves.
Grog Veil'thro was given a blessing by the Goddess of Retribution, given a deeper strength only activated once he sees his loved ones hurt. It makes him incredibly strong, much more than a mortal would be. His allies, such as Roxy Galahad would make a pact with the ferryman himself, Charon, to gain the skeletons of the dead who fell into his river to use as momentary allies. Riree, a dragonborn who had just learnt of her past as a possible meal for those in the floating city, would be blessed with Hypnos' blessing of a ray of sleep, similar to a bolt of fire, but instead of burning, just lulling. It puts most creatures to a non-magical sleep in an instant, even holding an affect upon elves. Lastly, Gormand Aldama had been blessed with an ability to step through light itself, and be transported elsewhere through a short distance, from Chthonia itself.
These abilities were more than handy against Ashfang. The dragons had went down there in search of four lost adventurers, having not expected to find those blessed by actual gods, or even the gods themselves! Ashfang would fight the four head on, and within a minute, he would be dead. His powerful breath of fire was ineffective against the group, and his allies were snuffed out by powerful beings. Ashfang has been known as one of the most idiotic dragons ever since then, and is one of the only ones with a lesser social rank than Vorbile, the Desecrator , despite being allowed onto the city when he was still alive. His carcass is still held upon the hall of the Chthonic gods, where it rests around the throne for Mother Nyx, rotted to just bones and ash, living up to his name for once in his life. Other dragons that joined him in the battle included Tergit, a blue dragon, who was slain by a single strike by Thanatos, and a Drake known as Eshkinar, who was thrown into the Hollow Abyss, devoured by the Nightmares formed by Melinoë from below. No casualties were lost on the side of the Gods, and their new warriors.

The Conflict
Prelude
Ashfang had gathered a small group of lesser dragons to join him on his fight, mainly those who could do with a chance of promotion or blessings from Malus. Grog, Roxy, Riree, and Gormand had traversed the Chthonic landscapes, meeting notable figures of it's culture, including gods that they made boons with, as well as Mother Nyx herself.
The Engagement
The dragons had suddenly attacked, from outside the miniscule domain of Chthonia, due to the deities still being locked there, as they had no followers, worshippers, or allies within Aitso until the four adventurers returned to the surface. Ashfang attacked the adventurers and lost, as did the other dragons against both Thanatos and Melinoë. Hypnos , as well as Oneiros, had aided those who had Chthonia as their afterlife, from any possible attack. Thus, none came. In the case of a potential fleet of dragons invading, Nyx had closed the gateway to Aitso, covering the entrance with a night sky.
