Burrows of the Worm Titan
"We had found this place as a fitting home - at least my ancestors did. Now as a mass burial site, I rest, alone, at it's depths. You all cared to join me - likely expecting treasure. Am I right in presuming this? Yes? Well, apologies to disappoint. It is simply me, down here,"The Worm Titan, also known as Adagi within the south-west regions of Aitso, is a powerful creature that was the origin of the traditional Wurm on Aitso. Most creatures that can burrow without the use of claws, hands, or extra limbs originate from the Worm Titan. Adagi had made it their sworn duty to destroy whatever land he deemed as having no divine right to exist. His final target would be Maisin Maw, after devastating dozens of small islands. Maisin would've been his largest target yet. In the preparations for their waves of destruction, Adagi had burrowed multiple tunnels, to preserve some sort of essence. It could act as a place of sanctuary, in case its battles with the Maisin Maw military failed. The initial assault caused by Adagi saw utter ruin onto Maisin Maw. Entire districts had been reduced to rubble - and the military, with their nonmagical weaponry, had little impact upon Adagi. Only those with powerful arcana in their weapons were able to pierce the scales of the beast. Adagi's Scales had become an aspect of importance within Maisin Maw.

Despite Adagi's failure, and death, its burrows became hollow. The sustenance that it had gathered in an attempt to recoup any minor losses had withered away, and returned to the earth. They ultimately became barren, and had little purpose in that time. That was, until the Serpentine Folk from Northern Maisin had emigrated to the new region, due to the empty void formed by the lack of a grand city on the pair of islands. As Basilisk's Residence , home for some of the more vile monsters of the two islands, began to infiltrate on the newfound home - the Serpentine had to rely upon the aid of Hags, from elsewhere, in order to push back the invasive monsters.
