Guildmaster Morden

"I'm the one who made this. I made you! You were nothing before you met me, all of you! Pathetic, little adventurers. If you want a job done, I suppose only I can get it done,"
- Morden, to a former group of adventurers he had employed.
Guildmaster Morden is the leader of a large organisation primarily built upon the premise of being the patron for adventuring groups within the Outlands, Outer Planes, and more directly, due to his origin on the continent, the South Pole of Aitso. Morden is one of the few surviving members of The Thoughtless who had managed to escape the Faded Peninsula. His body is basically the same as any other human. Morden himself is a powerful sorcerer, who had managed to bestow deals and alliances with demons, devils, and many other powerful beings. Morden is naturally charismatic, but often keeps to wearing a mask and hood to hide the lack of a face he has. Still able to talk, the human has been regarded as one of the most persuasive beings upon Aitso. As a patron to adventurers, he proposes and offers contracts, jobs, and quests for adventurers to go on, under the premise that he gets half of their earnings.
Morden is under possession of the legendary artifact of the Central Spot, known as The Grand Portal. The guildmaster uses this item to project far into the Multiverse, through Sigil, the City of Doors, and pluck adventurers, most commonly when they are close to death, and bring them to where he is. From that point, he offers projects for them to take, in return of 'vast riches'. Most of the time, these are simple tests to make sure that the adventurers would be both loyal to him, and powerful enough to handle themselves. Sometimes, even, the Guildmaster would hire monsters to commit minor acts of evil, to be defeated, and often, killed by the new party he has just roped into his line of work. Morden ultimately has no care for his lesser allies, as long as they make him money and do not give him any powerful enemies, then he is fine with whatever they do.
