Terian Pirates
"Haha, yes, we do understand the irony of it. We're all outlaws, criminals, pirates, folk that don't deserve a home of comfort - and yet, what a place we have here! It is rather wonderful, isn't it?"Boatlandia, a term used by commoners and nobles from Halland Island and other civilised regions, has been coined to humiliate and mock the artificial landmass formed by Terian Pirates. Tired of journeying a scoured ocean, filled with persecution and empty vaults - these outlaws had formed a pact. In a region, lawless, without any immediate danger, there could possibly be a home for them. In this, they found Casshire Island , a region that was considered without rules, but had also been considered too dangerous. If there was one rule to be made, it was to have a sense of honour with your fellow residents. This could not be found here, but the region northbound, off the coastlines of Terio, was a perfect place. With a wild landscape to their west, and nothing else until far beyond the horizon, these Pirates had decided to bind their ships and vessels into the ocean floor. Boats were rearranged, and turned into an artifical landscape. Their home, their harmonious paradise, was made.
- Salar, Great Battle Master
The region can be simplified with it's nickname Boatlandia. Boats tied with rope and anchors are left floating on the sea, with settlements being built upon the decks,to be inhabited by criminals, all with eccentric personalities - and even more eccentric criminal records. A known warrior across the South-West region of Aitso, a tiefling by the name of Salar, is the most famous resident of this area. He works as a sellsword, and an information broker. It is said that this flirty fiend's swordsmanship is only matched by his charm. He is currently in a relationship with an Otherkin known as Gormand, an adventurer who often relies on his partner's influence when it comes to his travels. He offers experienced training in melee weapons to anybody who requests for it, coming with a hefty fee.
Terian Pirates pride themselves on this region. They work tirelessly to keep the place afloat. Whilst the Pirates have formed this settlement as a safe haven, it does not mean that there are any individuals that do not have resentment to the areas. The Silvergarde, a nefarious league of assassins banished from Maisin Maw centuries ago, have slowly been reintegrating into the civilised world, from their open air prison on Derabo Dwellings. In recent years, the artificial land has been subject to many raids, and attacks involving the tamed dinosaurs that remain on Derabo Dwellings. One elite assassin, Cilvus of the Silvergarde, had even staged a coup with hidden members, riding an Allosaurus through the walkways and channels of the Terian Pirates' home, looking to specifically kill Salar.
Joining the Coalition
Under Salar's orders, many members of the Terian Pirates had abandoned their home, leaving a small portion of warriors to keep the place secure, in order to join the fight against Malus, the Charred Colossus. They had left Terio, and joined the Coalition, within their [Port Town. During this time, a temporary takeover of the region was made possible, the Silvergarde currently holding the place as a training ground for their cavalier soldiers, who ride atop the backs of Dinosaurs.
