The Celestial Cavaliers
Known for their powers of celestial combat, the Celestial Cavaliers is a group of soldiers who have managed to be able to fight on mounts such as a Unicorn. They all wear Scale mail armour, coloured a White and pastel pink. They were helmets similar to that of most Paladins, and acquire a Lance and Rapier upon Training. They serve under the Country of Erialla, and are used to stop raiding parties from Bennatia.
Even if they're known as the Celestial Cavaliers, only few of them actually use Celestial Mounts. Most instead are given professional Warhorses, whom wear a helmet to mimic a horn of a Unicorn. A subdivision of the Celestial Cavaliers ride Couatls into battle, and makes up part of the air force too. The Unicorn and Couatls are given the greatest of Luxuries, from massive warehouses and estates as their home. Being a Celestial Cavalier is a dangerous job, as the armour that one wears often grabs the attention of others unwillingly.
The Celestial Cavaliers were created when a False Idol declared war against Erialla, and a Mysterious being in Shining, White armour had slain it after a long battle. This being only blessed a snake and a Horse, and those 2 became Greater Celestials. Many theorise that this being was in charge of the False Idol before, when it was an Angel. These 2 Celestials would then be used by the highest ranking members of Erialla, and they had became the first Celestial Cavaliers.

Training
Over time the military system changed its equipment and roles, but throughout the course of Cavalier's history, it always remained a disciplined and professional war machine. Soldiers carried out training common to every organized army, from initial muster, arms and weapons drill, formation marching and tactical exercises. According to Generals, during the 7-month initial training of a Celestial Cavalier, marching skills were taught before recruits ever handled a weapon, since any formation would be split up by stragglers at the back or Unicorns trundling along at differing speeds. Standards varied over time, but normally recruits were first required to complete 20 miles with 20.5 kg in five hours.
