Overview

Oakley had ovarian cancer when she was 14 and had to have her ovaries removed. She nearly died, but survived somehow and met Griffith while she was in the hospital, and didn't make it out of the hospital and hospital bed until she was 20.

My dad came to visit me a few times in the hospital early on

Firstly I should be dead.
i e.e was o-o well. arrangements were being made. i was basically given up on. i was sick for like... five years and it wasnt getting better it just got worse *touches stomach absently* and idk how i survived. my brain says "specialised, secret and unique clinical trial" which strongly makes me eye the world we live in and go "hm i bet this'll come back to bite me!"
secondly idk what i did to pass the time and i know that sounds silly but like... did i write? draw? sew? watch endless tv shows? play games? music? what did i do because i was very VERY sick for a long time but i also was only "sick and trying to fight it" sick for a long time too but too sick to go out and do things
