History

It would later be a crucial tool and pillar for the planning of The Great Departure that marked the exile of the Glazoon empireDuring the Gnome ruling, HighMountain was a fortress fully constructed for military purposes. The observatory was built here because not only it could be use for vigilance, but, also, would be an important accent in the Glazoon astronomy research and, therefor, a valuable structure, deserving of a proper defense system. After the exile, the observatory remained closed and abandoned for most of the era. After the human society, precursor to the now known Phoenix Empire, established its capital here, efforts were made through many years to reopen the telescope and unravel its ancient mysteries and clockworks. After several attempts, the observatory were open and its contraptions studied and, soon, put in function in the service of the Empire.
