Armande's murky bronze eyes are squinty and distrustful. His hair is grey and kept short, a fine goatee gracing his chin bound by a fine silver ring engraved with something you can't quite make out.

Background

Armande was born in the nobility and worked in news and promotion from an early point. In his younger days he was known for his social sway. He has been incredibly successful covering up scandals for the crown and shaping the narrative against mages in the smaller towns of Ascium. He is having a harder time in the city where mages were more prevalent and trusted thanks to the university but he is making a fresh new push in support of the decrees. Due to his role a young middling rank Mage Hunter, Otto Hounds, has been stationed as his bodyguard, especially since he is in danger when making his frequent trips to the other towns to reinforce his work. Armande has worked hard for his son Dae. He wants to protect him and loves him dearly but can see that he's raised an idiot who is not cut out for a role like he is. He is prepared to take the fall if the coverup of his sons activities fails. He is confident it won't but he is prepared to frame himself if he has to.
