Charges. This item has 2 charges which can be used to power its abilities. These recharge on a long rest.

Melodic Score. The tone of the string invades your words giving you a +2 to Performance, Persuasion and Deception checks.

Captive Audience. By expending a charge of this item at the start of combat you can extend the song of the thread into the minds of up to 3 targets. Those targets must make a DC 16 wisdom saving throw or be forced to attack you ignoring your allies for as long as they are affected. The target can remake the saving throw at the start of each of its turns after the first. Attacking a target affected by this ability gives you advantage on the attack rolls.

Discordant Melody. By expending a charge of this item at the start of combat you can extend a sharp out of tune note into the minds of 1 target. The effected target must make a DC 14 wisdom saving throw or have their initiative reduced by an amount equal to your own
