Personal history

Born in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Oakhaven, he quickly developed a love of hunting. He moved to the city in his 20s but doesn't like to stay there for long. It became more of a drop off point and he would spend most of his time in the wilds hunting and living off the land, only returning to sell his catch through the guild. He is an exceptional archer and hunter and did well during this time.
He was there for the early days of the guild and when they were setting up the official documents they had to put down a legal team. None of the hunters there were particularly law adept nor could they afford a legal representative at the time so they drew names out of a hat thinking it would barely come up. Daeran was drawn and for a long while was content with having to do nothing yet have a prestigious role that gave him some added benefits.
When the decrees started coming in and the city got locked down he was thrown into a world of stress, bureaucracy and negotiation that he does not understand. He is trying his best but is struggling to get his head around the law to make a convincing argument for their licensing and handle all of the other issues the new sub-groups are causing for the guild. He isn't even very talkative or socially adept. It doesn't help that he is feeling very claustrophobic locked in the city on top of all this.
