Born Romain Escrim in one of the small hamlets of Ascium. He doesn't remember much about his life up until a few years ago when he was elevated to guard captain in an underground cell. He was wiped by a Whispering Lady during his stay in the underground prison and the Crown decided to use him as the new false guard captain after he told them he had no family. He lied to protect his little brother. He now works under duress as the false head of the guard. His moves decided by Cutthroat who also seems under duress to him. Fictus stays because he has nowhere else to go. He knows no one and nothing else. Something feels wrong to him about what he's doing but he can't pinpoint why. After all this is what he's always done.Personality
