Personal history

Born to the previous Mice Host, Erstern Ritsk, and a mother who died in childbirth, Rila was raised to lie and cheat and steal. Quite obviously her father's favourite since her older sister Radella Ritsk refused to learn the family's ways and left to become a singer.
Her father was killed in 3244-e5 when he was charming his way into a small group of mages to take a valuable artefact. He was involved with a dangerous ritual that went wrong and ended in his death. This was when young Rila took up the mantle of her father and became the Host of The Mice. 
Hearing of her father's death lead her to become resentful towards all magic. She is very sympathetic to the Crown's decrees and supports the Mage Hunters fully.
She now lives in her sister's home, since she was made her guardian. However Radella has little interest in her sister and her growth and is often out working. This works out well for the independent Rila who uses this time to excel in the Guild. Her favourite scam is to pretend to be a noble's lost daughter in the Mercantile District where she asks people to help her find her parents while another mouse pockets their valuables.
