Esterdwell Kingdom

The Esterdwell Kingdom is a war-like kingdom. The warriors of the kingdom are ready to sink their teeth into the king's enemies. The kingdom is well defended and ready to defend itself. The kingdom also wants to take over the nearest kingdoms. In fact, they have a long history of trying to take over Fair Bay. But they have not been successful as of yet.

Structure

The Royal Hierarchy

The king is at the top of the food chain of the kingdom. The king rules the kingdom and serves as a judge if the courts can't solve a problem. The king is also the strongest Shark Mer in the kingdom. This is shown by a yearly deathmatch with the king. The king is not allowed to refuse the fight, even in his old age.   The queen is the next highest-ranked person in the royal hierarchy. According to the king, the queen is always the most beautiful women in the kingdom. The queen does not have to come from a noble house. Her role is to have the king's children. The queen is also one of the king's most trusted advisers since she most likely comes from a common home.   Following the queen is the crowned prince or princess, basically the firstborn child of the queen. The crowned prince is the one who is supposed to take over the kingdom if his father dies of natural causes. They have to learn about politics and how to fight. On proving days the crown prince is the first to challenge the king for the throne.   The other children of the queen are the next ranked. They are just called princes and princess. They also have to learn about politics and about how to fight. After all, if the crown princess loses a deathmatch with the king they will have to fight if they wish too. But they are normally married off to other noble houses and sometimes to neighboring kingdoms for peace treaties.   Although technically lower than the princes and princesses the next rank is duke and dutchess. Dukes and dutchess outrank the normal princes and princesses. These ranks have different houses that take care of different matters. There are three different houses. Each house takes all are some of the following: foreign politics, commerce, agriculture, military, and law. The houses in charge of law serve as judges for the kingdom. The other houses advise the king on their respective matters.   Following the duke and dutchess is the baron and baroness. The barons and baronesses take care of local governments. Tending to villages and towns that are further away from the capital, Docada. These houses are normally well versed in law, commerce, and agriculture. Dukes can also serve as generals in the army.   Knights are the lowest-ranked nobles. They can serve as generals and are the highest ranking in the military. They are basically lesser nobles who try to marry up the chain. How they do this is by trying to get their children to marry the king's children.   After the knights are the serfs. They are the farmers, miners, and craftsmen of the kingdom.

Public Agenda

The Esterdwell Kingdom wants to control as many Ablese mines as they can. They also want to take over the neighboring kingdom, Fair Bay Kingdom.

History

The Esterdwell Kingdom kingdom has a long and bloody history. They always seem to be trying to pick a fight with someone or something. Mostly for more land and natural resources.

Wars with Far Bay

The Fair Bay Kingdom is the main kingdom that the Esterdwellers seems to be fighting. Their wars are mostly over land and resources. Also Fair Bay has the Raging Abyss under their control. Since the Raging Abyss is the richest place to mine Ablese the motives of the Esterdweller king is easy to see. If he had more ablese he could make more weapons and armor.   The First Siren War is the name of the first war between Fair Bay and Esterdwell. The war lasted sixty years since Estherdwell didn't want to give up the fight. The war finally cooled off when the king of Esterdwell died. The Fair Bay Queen forced a treaty. They lived in peace for a couple of decades.   The other wars with Far Bay are about the same. But sometimes Esterdwell would win the wars. The treaties would also make it so that Fair Bay was left as their own kingdom and that the Raging Abyss stayed a part of their kingdom. The reason why Esterdwell was never able to get the land is because, Far Bay would threaten to keep fighting. And since Esterdwell was tired they always allowed Fair Bay to keep their land to avoid another war. At least until they were ready.

Other Battles

On top of fighting Fair Bay Esterdwell would also seek out monsters to claim their waters. They have gone to deeper darker waters in search of resources. They looked for and fought sea monsters like krakens and megalodons.
