The Fire Clan

The Fire Clan is one of the Four Great Clans of Acciphere. It's also called the Clan of the Hot-Heads, because of how fiery and short-tempered Fire Clan members can be. THey believe that hard work, perseverance and an unbending will are what's required to succeed in life. Currently, THe Fire Clan is no more than a few select members, due to it being destroyed by Leonidas West in 1280 KE.

Structure

The Clan of Fire is led by a person called the Chief. He leads the people through troubles, and he's the person who is responsible to put his life on the line to save the Clan. Under him are the Firemasters, who come next in protecting the village. Alternately, they also pass own their knowledge to young Fire Apprentices, who aspire to become Chief or Firemasters themselves. Kids are not allowed to go near the Artefact until they reach an age of sixteen, mainly due to how easily the Fire Artefact can influence people near it. Only with the Chief's permission can a Firemaster go near the Artefact.

Culture

The culture of the Clan of Fire is heavily influenced on multiple gods, each with different powers. They perform timely rituals with the Artefact and regularly check and restore the seal on the Artefact, so as to not let the Tiger of Fire (also called Haruno) come out. In art and literature, the gods are portrayed with white skins, sitting on clouds and have exquisite crowns. According to the god, you might see flames dancing on his crown, or see him flying while his wings are on flames. One main characteristic is that all of them wear beautiful gold necklaces, crowns, rings and whatnot.

Assets

The Fire Clan, being located in the LavaNord Kingdom, has access to a lot of deep underground caverns, where mining is done for gold. They also have the Fire Artefact on their side, which they use in battles in case there's one. As of recently, they have a temple solely dedicated to the Power Beast Haruno.

History

Creation

It was the very beginning of time. God sealed the Beast of Fire Haruno inside the blood-red Fire Artefact. It was said that the Fire Artefact accidentally slipped from God's hands, and fell where the LavaNord Kingdom now exists. The impact of the hit was so massive it created a crater just to the south of the LavaNord island. This is where a group of hot-headed farmers found the Artefact. As soon as they touched it, though, they felt power surging through them, and God apparently spoke to them in person. He said: "Never use the power of this stone or I will curse the land."
Of course, they didn't pay heed to his warning. They discovered how to use it, and used it for all menial tasks. They soon formed a cult, and worshipped the stone while using its power. Rumours spread across the island about a mysteriously powerful force residing in the south. To confirm their suspicions, people joined together, and went to the south. They saw a bustling village, with people in it. What was so mysterious about a village with normal humans, they thought. But they didn't know the fact that everyone in the village was aware of their presence. In a matter of seconds, a battle ensued between the villagers and the members of the Shadow, as they called themselves back then. Ultimately, the Shadow won, and the villagers burned to their deaths. Only one guy escaped, and told everyone else in the LavaNord Kingdom of what they were. Nobody dared approach the group, as they were too powerful. Moves were secretly made by the LavaNord monarchs, but in the end, all of them failed.

War of the Kingdoms

The first thought of peace with the Clan of Fire arose during the War of the Kingdoms. The monarch closely observed everyone, and took great care not to involve in the war, but when matters became worse, he was forced to sign an agreement with the Fire Clan. In exchange for their freedom and right to exist and live in the LavaNord Kingdom, they would have to fight the rest of the kingdoms in war. While it seemed like a tall order at first, the clan members agreed. There are rumours saying that they agreed to the pact just because they could test their prowess against more powerful opponents, but of course, it hasn't been proved yet.
When it came to the war, the Fire Clan were almost indestructible. They wiped out everyone who came in their way, and put the LavaNord Kingdoms at one of the topmost position. But that's when their luck ended. They learned in the battle that there were others just like them. Longing to fight these mysterious people, they effortlessely wiped out the opponent. But when they met the other three Great Clans, they were baffled. Just like they could control fire, these people could control Water, Lightning and Earth. For the first time ever in history, The Fire Clan got scared of the outcome. If they possessed Fire, Water could easily beat them. But on the other hand, they could beat Earth pretty easily. After a long and tiring battle, which was said to completely change the look of the battlefield, nobody won. A four-way deadlock had formed between the elements. Realizing that they had actually lost, they returned to their homelands, apparently changed. Many people noticed that the agressiveness of the Clan as a whole faded after the battle they fought with the other Clans.

The Peace Treaty

When the war ended, casualities were on every side. The Fire Clan tried their best to help the government of the LavaNord Kingdom, but the damage was too great. After time passed, a peace treaty was passed by the Clan of Water to the other clans. The Clan of Fire was surprised that they wanted peace, because they felt the same way. After they had realized the error of their ways, they had a desire to do the same, but just couldn't approach, thinking that the other Clans would think less of them. So after a lot of Clan meetings and discussions with the monarch, they agreed to the pact. They all shook hands on the very place they fought, which was now a forest. Acciphere's most famous quote was said here by the Chief of the Fire Clan, and it went something like this:
Just like life here blossomed anew, we shall plant the seeds of peace. We shall hope for the beautiful flowers of unity to take care of the future generations. Let them not experience the hardships of war like we did. I, as the Chief of the Fire Clan, accept your peace treaty!

Destruction of the Clan and Aftermath

In the year of 1280 KE, the people of the Fire Clan were ultimately eliminated by Leonidas West. They tried their best to stop the man, but he was too powerful. But they did end up taking with them both his legs, which he soon replaces with metal legs. The only remnants of the Fire Clan were the two teenagers, Aurora and Rhodey. When Leonidas was defeated in the Second Robot War, Aurora and Rhodey took up the role of rebuilding their clans. While Rhodey worked behind the scenes, Aurora became the face of the Fire Clan.

Weak fires get put out, but strong fires only get stronger.
