Azure Spire

The Azure Spire is a striking mountain, it sits alone in a large fertile plain piercing the sky. The Azure Spire Principality is ruled by an Ancient Silver Dragon named Prince Mithor. Dragons are not usually known to allow themselves to be the subject of others, but it seems Mithor is the exception. Mithor has always been the elector-prince of the Azure Spire. But he has never been King, this is because Mithor has always refused any nomination as King, as an immortal Dragon being King would break the system, as ‘rule for life’ would be forever.
The Azure Spire Principality has a rather large population of Dragonkin, most are descendants of Mithor, some has spread to other parts of the principality. But there are also plenty of humans living on the farms surrounding the spire, most agree that the Dragon is a kind and benevolent ruler and while Mithor is quite welcoming of visitors, most are reluctant to take the hard climb to the top of the spire and then stand before a being so large and intimidating.
