Cloud Peaks

The population of Cloud Peaks is spread quite thinly across the territory with no cities to speak. But to call the towns and village small would be misleading as most of the population are Giantkin.
The Nobility are Cloud Giants, the royals are Storm Giants led by King Arendus, Many Stone Giants are Clergy and Tradesmen. The ‘Lesser’ Giants, Hill Giants, Ogres and Goliaths are peasants and largely prevented from doing any work other than as basic labourers and soldiers.
The Giants were banished high unto the mountains long ago by the ‘Mountain Treaty’ signed with the dwarves in generations passed. But the new King Arendus has vowed to take revenge on the Mountain Realms, and every day the giants are testing the treaty, slowly descending the mountains, and settling lower and lower lands, sometimes attacking dwarven settlements.
