Dunbirge

This large town sits at a fork in the river and acts as a crucial crossing for a valuable trade route that links to Korg and eventually Farnelia. Princess Hildeburg Dorleth is the elector-prince of Dunbirge and Archmage of the Arcane University of Illusion. These titles are always linked, whomever is appointed as Archmage by the University is also the elector-prince.
While Dunbirge is an important stop for merchants, they prefer to avoid spending too much time in the city. Apprentices from the school of illusion are always trying to outdo each other pranking travellers, it is an unspoken tradition of the university.
