Earthwall Mountains

Forming a natural barrier between the various clans and khanates of goblins the Earthwall mountains marked the border of the United Principalities for many centuries. These days the mountains and the marches below are now occupied by Prince Rolf and his vassals, but many goblin clans remain hidden in the mountains in caves, hidden valleys, and plateaus. The goblinoids here have no remaining pastures to herd animals, so they raid the surrounding human lands to survive.
It is an ongoing mission of Prince Rolf to rid the mountains of the goblin threat once and for all, doing so will transform the mountain range into a secure border which will help prevent the Yellow Horde from being able to make any large scale incisions, but until this job is done, the mountain is full of willing spies and scouts who are experts in these mountains and could help sneak even a large hobgoblin force through the mountains.
