The Unclaimed

These are undead spirits, the souls of people who have died but their souls could not be claimed by any God in The Great Game. So the spirits linger without bodies and often with limited or no remaining sapience, many are confused or angry and lash out, others linger near loved ones or the place where they lived or were killed haunting it.
The Unclaimed are the only souls who after death can be forced back into their own bodies as an act of resurrection or forced into a new body in reincarnation. If an Unclaimed soul is slain by divine magic its soul can be sent to reside with the caster's patrol diety.
