The Goliath is the most numerous Main battle tank in service with the ground forces of the The Imperial Terran Federation , being the main workhorse of the armoured divisions of the ground forces. A gigantic beast of war incarnate in flesh and metal, this machine is armed with a deadly array of weapons, the most dangerous of which however, is its mind. The fact that this tank in itself is sentient and can make decisions on its own is probably the most dangerous aspect about this tank, as it has the soul of an angel bound to it which makes it have a will of its own.

Power Generation

The tank itself is powered by a Aegis mark three electronically powered 4 Megawatt engine that powers the functions of the tank and allows for cooking of food inside of the tank through electronically driven heat.

The Goliath is a gigantic beast of war incarnate, lusting for the blood of any heretic or loyalist it finds depending on the side it is serving it. The main armament of the tank consists of a gigantic 140mm cannon, which is used for levelling infantry structures as well as engaging other enemy armoured vehicles. To compliment its infantry support capabilities, it is also armed with two 80 millimeter dual guided rocket pods, which are mainly used for leveling infantry structures but can also be used for destroying light and medium armored vehicles. For further infantry supression capabilities, the tank is equipped with 5 heavy machine guns and two 90 milimeter mortars . This range of armaments is what makes this tank a true beast to be reckoned with by practically anything short of another goliath.

Armor and defense

The tank is very well armored , combining its composite armor composed of Valcoranium, depleted uranium and tungsten with many other materials. One of its deadliest features is its active kill system, which combines a charge of plasma energy in conjunction with its force fields to stop other ranged projectiles from a long range. The power of this field decreases as the tank is nearer to the target however, where the shields do not get much time to activate.

Communication Tools & Systems

The tank is equipped with an internal electronic radio and video equipment, which allows direct contact between many people all at once across various sytems. This radio system is often used in conjunction with the infantry squads radio systems as well as other Goliaths to coordinate attacks on the enemy position.

Sensors

The Goliath is equipped with a wide range of sensors and sensory equipment to compliment the large armament of the Goliath. Thermal imaging, night vision, void energy and heaven energy sensors are some of the few sensors that are equipped on this vehicle. They are turned down for the most part though, as they consume a large amount of power that goes to powering the vehicle itself.

Additional & auxiliary systems

The tank itself is equipped with full NBC protection as well as its own life support systems, which enables it to survive in the harshest of battlefields, from crushing atmospheres to airless voids.
