Holy Order Chapel

The structure rose out of the ground and into the sky, like a tower reaching into heaven itself. Meros saw that it was vastly different from all the structures he had encountered in the Imperium. It looked more like a baroquje castle of the late middle ages than a building of the thirty first century. Even with most of the Imperiums structures being a mix of that period and contemporary ones, this one leaned far more towards that of the former. He knew what it was. The headquarters of the Holy Order, the people who have dedicated every waking moment against the spawn of the void"   Lorann Sanguinus Meros, thinking in his mind after seeing the Chapel of the Holy Order
In the calm and peaceful quarters of Uppsala, a Terran city located in the Kingdom of Sweden, one can find a baroque building, towering above every other structure in the city. Located close to the Uppsala Cathedral, this building is the chapel of the Holy Order, one of the subdivisions of the Imperial Order and arguably the most important one. The building houses their main office and branches, and it is from here that they conduct their galaxy wide operations against the nightmarish voidspawn, demonic creatures that defy reality and thirst for the souls of man and his allies   The Building inside is different than it seems from outside, and contains many modern elements too. Despite the presence of high tech computers, smartphones, guards with firearms and melee weapons patrolling the premises, it still gives off a medieval feel. The Stained glass paintings, the giant sculptures of demons and angels and most of all, the snarling face of Sanguinus at the lobby give it a rather scary and yet at the same time, soothing atmosphere. It can thus be summed up as a place where humans and other people of the alliance of good feel at ease, whilst for those of the Voidspawn, it is the unholiest and nightmarish of structures
