Skull of Sanguinus

"It's said that when one sees the skull of Sanguinus, their true intentions are revealed. If they worship Kerr, they feel a sinister presence around and if they are one of us, they feel soothed. Both can be attributed to Sanguinus himeself gazing at them the moment they look at the abyssal eyes of the titan himself"   Watcher Antrian Lakard of the Imperial Order, commenting on the skull of Sanguinus
At first sight, it may look like a simple thing. A skull that seems to be roaring, with its fangs looking abnormally realistic. It is the symbol of the Imperial Order, the cryptic organization that fights against the greatest threats to mankind. When one gazes upon the replica carried by a watcher of the order however, they are shocked to the bones, regardless of their allegiance   It is said that when one looks into the skull, they are staring into Sanguinus himself and vice versa. Immediately, lesser willed Kerrites tremble in fear and have sometimes been known to even die. Whilst those who owe their allegiance to the forces of good are soothed, and are inspired by the visions Sanguinus shows to them. No one knows how Sanguinus keeps watch on so many of these amulets at the same time but they know, that he watches. With his carmine eyes and snarling mouth, he watches those who commit crimes and also those who save others   To those who save lives and act selflessly, he praises them and helps them as much as he can in their journeys. Even the slightest of good deeds please him, especially if they involve defending the weak and the innocent. To those who worship Kerr and commit crimes that hurt others, he silently brings his fury in the form of the Order. The barrel of their guns or the hilt of their swords is the last thing they see before their eyes are shut forever
