Starships

" As i walked down the hallways of the Starship, i felt like a simple electron buzzing about. The hallways were like a valley,draped with banners of the federation on either side, To me, nothing had seemed bigger in my life that was made by man himself. I truly could believe it."

Starships are in general, used to refer to the large vehicles used for interstellar and intergalactic as well as interplanetary transport by the various intelligent races of the federation. There is no hard definition as to what constitutes a starship but in general, it is idedntified to be a vehicle that is capable of at least some degree of interstellar travel, though it does not necesarilly mean that the ship has to have some sort of FTL capability. Some starships are enormous, ranging upto tens of thousands of kilometres and are basically, entire worlds of their own.

Power Generation

Starships are powered by a myriad number of systems, ranging from mundane ones like nuclear power to exotic forms like antimatter and even dark matter

Propulsion

The propulsion systems for starships also vary heavily, witth some going by the simple chemical propulsion of 21st century rockets whilst other go by fission, fusion, antimatter, and even antigravity propulsion as a means of traversing the vast cosmic ocean between the stars.

Weapons & Armament

Starships that carry weaponry are also known as warships. Their weaponry systems, like almost all of their other systems, depends upon what organisation or race is using them. It can be railguns, missiles, torpedoes, energy weapons
