Life & Expiration

Every time a gemstone is used, with the exception of Zircon, it loses a part of its power. This means that not only will it get weaker, but it will slowly 'go to sleep'.

Cultural Significance and Usage

Before battle soldiers are presented with a bracelet with beads of Amethyst, Aquamarine, Aventurine, Bloodstone, Obsidian, Lepidolite, Mookait, Onyx, Tourquise and Unakite. In some cultures Shungite is also present.
Holy people will often wear Angelite, Taumarine, Bloodstone, Caroite, Emerald, Fluorite, Howlite, Iolite, Kyanite, Rhodochrosite and Tourquise.

Gemstones are found in their natural state.

Reusability & Recycling

Some gemstones are used to take away something, for example an emotion, memory or wound, and need to be cleaned by selenite before they are reusable. Gemstones which have begun to sleep (characterised by turning from warm to cold) must be woken up by Zircon.
