Quest Report #1: Sahuagin Attacks

General Summary

24 Tartarus Falling   Finding the boat to Ysgard was easy enough, though it seems that I am not the only one from Blue Star eager to journey to this island. I seem to have five shipmates on this voyage, all bound for Dragons Wings, a loud golden dragonborn named Vulthak who is determined to get me to take his autograph, a quiet half-elven bard who's name I have not gotten at this point, though her music is quite beautiful, a small equally quiet kobold, and another small blue dragonborn by the name of Impy. I can only hope that the journey to the island goes smoothly, as these four will likely fight by my side in the future, hopefully I will serve them well in battle...     I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised that the journey was not quite as smooth as I would've liked. As Ysgard came more clearly into our view, mist began to surround our ship and soon after we were boarded. Six lizard-like seafolk swarmed the boat one by one but luckily my companions proved to be competent in battle, which is to be expected from adventurers bound for this island I suppose, and we were able to defeat them, though the bard who I learned was called Kaylessa was able to charm one of the creatures. I also discovered that the small kobald goes by Stavros, and despite the fact he seems to be sensitive to sunlight, he did save me from a blow from one of the creatures. With further investigation, we found a small wooden idol of a sea god on one of the bodies, perhaps we will investigate further when we reach the guild...   When we arrived on the island, we were greeted by yet another large dragonborn by the name of Quostor who led us to the guild and then the guildmaster himself. The guildmaster is a dwarven man by the name of Riswynn Fallak. He seems like a good man to serve... We informed him about the attack on the boat, and Kaylessa showed him the idol. Quostor has been sent to investigate the coast to see where the creatures are coming from so that we can stop them from attacking other incoming vessels. We are officially part of the guild now, and I look forward to see what adventures this will bring.   Note: I ended up taking one of Vulthak's autographs, he seems nice enough.    - Callias Thaig.
