Quest - "Scouting the Swamp"

Expedition

With the mist retreating further into the island, a lowland swamp area was unveiled. As such, a party was sent over to investigate, assess, and in general gather information. By finding out some of the notable markings and dangers, future scouts will be safer when investaging further.   During their travels, the party encountered a group of starving goblins seemingly being led by an intelligent hobgoblin. After providing the creatures with food, they left, allowing the party to pass. Eventually, the party would come up to an entrance to the swamp, a land bridge which seemed to be the only reasonable passage into the swamp in that area.   It was there they discovered an encampment of Yuan-ti on the otherside of the bridge, which was being guarded by a pair of snake-like Yuan-ti. Shortly after, the party encountered Taksu for the first time, an almost completely human Yuan-ti with few notable snake features, who was attempting to flee. After convinsing the guards to release Taksu, the party returned to the Guild with the Yuan-ti.
