Text of the official Kedorien Plum Festival's pamphlet
Kedorien plum pie... no food is as famous in Rohsk as Kedorien plum pie. It must be said, their plum pie, and their plums in general, are the tastiest in the Region. The plums are of a special type; they don't have the usual purple colour, but rather a deep, bright pink. Extremely sweet, yet with a hint of sourness, they are a great refreshment when eaten fresh from the tree. But when prepared into any of numerous delicious recipes known by all Kedorien cooks, they are heavenly.

The most famous recipe, as mentioned, is that for their plum pie. A mix of several ingredients, some of them kept secret by all Kedorians, the pie looks simple. Covered in latticework of dough, you'd mistake it for any baker's fruit pie. But don't let its appearance fool you, when you try a slice of the pie, it is like an explosion of taste in your mouth.
The plums sweetness is offset a little by more sour blueberries. Honey, cinnamon and fresh butter are some of the other known ingredients, but according to the Kedorians it are the secret ingredients who really set it apart from other pies.

The plums are also turned into other delicacies that have put the Kedora on the map. Kedorien plum brandy is cherished by many a noble lady. Plum candy, plum marmalade, plum cupcakes and plum juice are favoured by the children. Some cooks have even been known to add them to a nice pork roast, along with a plum based sauce.

To celebrate (and sell) their plum-wares, an annual plum festival is held in Kedora. For many in the Region it is the highlight of their year, their only excursion after a year of hard work in the fields.
