City of Shadows

I must admit that I have never visited the city of shadows, though I have tried on multiple occasions. It is a haven for thieves of all kinds from all parts of Adijari. Thus, even though it is a taboo city to be associated with in many nations, it is also beyond them in how cosmopolitan it is. There are not many places in Adijari that I have discovered where you will find elves, lahks, devs, and ameshas in relationships with one another. Although full of charlatans, there are strict codes of conduct that govern the city of shadows, with some allowance of thievery. Those who break from the code are forever banned from the city. This would be difficult to enforce upon scorned bandits who are practiced at getting into places where they are not wanted, but there are spells that prevent this. Most impressive of these spells, is that the city actually moves, as if on a cloud. It is said that it can even exist layered upon another city. This alone is proof that there is powerful magic connected to the city of shadows, and it is no wonder that in a city of rogues, that so many have been expelled for trying to uncover its secrets.
