Spider Pox
A rare disease carried by the Crixous Crocanze spider species.
Transmission & Vectors
A small spider known as Crixous Crocanze is the only known carrier of this disease.
Symptoms
Loss of strength, overall weakness, large red circular marks all over the body, nausea and after a year; death.
Treatment
There is no known cure to Spider Pox.
Prognosis
The disease starts by weakening the body of its carrier. They lose most of their physical strength in a few days. After this red circular marks start appearing all over their body, this stage lasts for around half a year. When half a year has passed nausea starts. The nausea gets so bad that the person cannot hold any food in their stomach and the carriers body will start eating itself from the inside. The cause of death is fatigue and starvation.
Hosts & Carriers
The spider species Crixous Crocanze is the only know source of this disease.
Prevention
The best prevention method is to kill any Crixous Crocanze sighted. Luckily it is a rare species of spider.
History
For many centuries no cases were recorded, until recently about 60 years ago.
Cultural Reception
Even though the disease does not spread to others, people keep a distance those who are infected. The red markings make them easy to identify.
