Upon activation, the gem turns into a +1 cloak, providing a +1 bonus to your AC. In addition, it has the following other properties:
Catalyst Communication. This gem can be used as a sending stone and can be used to communicate with the other Catalyst Gems.
Swindler's Sight. While wearing the cloak, you can:

• see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 30 feet.

• have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

• see invisible creatures and objects within 15 feet of you as if they were visible, and you can see into the Ethereal Plane. Ethereal creatures and objects appear ghostly and translucent.

Miridi's Mirage. You can use a bonus action to shroud yourself in an illusion that makes you appear as a fear of a target you choose. The target must make a WIS save equal to your spell save DC. On a failed save, the target becomes frightened until the start of your next turn and takes 1d10 psychic damage. On a successful save, the target suffers no ill effects.
