Kossuth

Kossuth, Lord of Flames, was the primordial deity of elemental fire. Of the four primordial deities, he is the most commonly revered and has a large following in the region of Thay. He is not actually a god, but rather one of several Elemental Primordials who are venerated as divine by the common folk of Toril. Kossuth has lorded over fire since the earliest moments of the multiverse. He rarely intervenes in the affairs and conflicts of the Material Plane, spending most of his time embroiled in the intrigues of the Inner Planes.    Kossuth advocates a doctrine of elemental supremacy that puts him at odds with the other elemental lords. He vehemently opposes Istishia and his clergy. He is watchful of the upstart fire archomental Imix, who constantly tries to undermine the Lord of Flames. The Grand Sultan of the Efreet is the only being who even slightly competes with Kossuth for power over elemental fire.

Divine Realm

Kossuth dwells within the Crimson Pillar, a 10 mile wide globe made of the primordial power of fire, which floats over the Sea of Fire on the Elemental Plane of Fire. It is said that the blue and white flames of the Pillar give off a heat that makes the rest of the plane seem chilly by comparison.

Divine Domains

Kossuth is master of elemental flame. He grants his clergy access to the light domain.
