Companions of the Hall

The Companions of the Hall were an adventuring group comprising Drizzt Do'Urden, and his closest friends, Bruenor Battlehammer, Cattie-Brie, Wulfgar, and Regis. Their name derives from their home of Mithral Hall, of which Bruenor eventually became king after the Companions rediscovered it and defeated the shadow dragon that was inhabiting it. They are commonly referred to as the Companions of the Hall both by Drizzt himself and other people in Icewind Dale and the Northern The Sword Coast and Silver Marches. Their adventures had repercussions throughout the Realms, including the death of Yvonnel Baenre, the head of the most powerful House in Menzoberranzan, and the defeat of Akar Kessel, the power hungry mage.
