Delrin “Handy” Shaleside

Delrin “Handy” Shaleside is a master Carpenter and skilled craftsman who assists the Bosun, Scurvy Dill, with any woodworking on the ship. Unfortunately, he has no hands, and depending on his mood, the story of how he lost them varies wildly. He has prosthetics in their place that he screws attachments into to allow him to perform a variety of simple tasks, but for more delicate work he simply advises. Despite this obvious handicap, his depth of carpentry knowledge is impressive as are his endless lectures about the history and lore of various wood species.
