Iuz

Little is known about the mysterious cult of Iuz. The Faithful Quartermasters of Iuz buy so much fish in Saltmarsh they've set up a consulate to negotiate pricing year round and recruit workers for construction projects up North. According to Captain Xendros Iuz is a benevolent patron presiding over the knowledge domain and his followers in the distant North are building a book repository and monastery to convert the local barbarian tribes. His symbol appears to be a grinning skull which represents a contented death at the end of a life spent seeking knowledge.
