Saltmarsh Town Council

Saltmarsh is ruled by five elected councilors, an election held once every three years. Usually those who provide the most stability and employment in the town are elected. During the last election, The Lords Alliance appointed Manistrad Copperlocks Manistrad received an appointment, partly due to the votes of the large group of dwarves in town for the mines, but also as a voice of stability, employment, and commerce to the town, as the mines had increased the need for supporting industry. Gellan Primewater, along with Eda Oweland, have been long serving members on the council, particularly Eda. Anders Solmor is the youngest councilor in history, taking over his mother's position before him, however he was re-elected during the election process and is quite popular. Eliander Fireborn rounds out the councilors as his position as head of the guard elicits much respect. Recently Lord Avondis Declan has been appointed to an honorary seat on the council to represent the military interests of the Lord's Alliance while he is stationed in the area. A staunch Loyalist, his vote has upset the standing balance that the council has enjoyed in recent years.
