The Wizened Willow
An massive and ancient willow tree Northeast of Elturel that is home to a large tribe of Thri-Kreen.
This tree is ancient, beyond number in years. It is a holy place for druids and nature spirits. This towering tree is hundreds of feet high. Its canopy is so wide a person could walk 100 yards in its shade before approaching its trunk. Its gnarled and twisted bark is hard as steel, and its surface roots are in slow constant motion. They lift up and drop down all around the hill.
Under its gnarled roots lie a series of ancient tunnels, twisting and winding through the earth, supported, buttressed and in some places completely formed by the giant roots of the tree. For many years in recent memory these tunnels have been the home of a large tribe of Thri-Kreen.
