Imperial Citadel

The imperial citadel was the seat of the The Xaraxyian Empire imperial family, which includes Emperor Xavan and his heirs, Princess Xedalli and Prince Xeyleth. The citadel is a mile-wide, floating platform of hewn stone shaped in the form of a moth. The citadel is an astral elf city, and protected by 2 brigades of star moths.
The citadel siphons power from the star Xaryxis directly, by means of a 300,000‑mile-long (480,000‑kilometer) beam of light.
Our heros visit the citadel for the royal coronation takes place at the temple of light, where two solar dragons are chained to the temple while their magical life energy is being drained in to the temple.
After thwarting Xeleth's attempt to bind Mag'ladroth, the citadel is a broken listless shell of what it once was. Still able to house its populace for a small time period, its inhabitants are now seeking refuge elsewhere in rapid numbers.
