Blessing of Fate

A flip of the coin, a question of Fate. What say you Master Tomain? A flip, a spin. Heads they shall live, Tails you shall win?

The Highest of Stakes

Effect

Basic Effects: Roll 1d100 after making the call. You must choose lows or highs. Lows are 1-50 and highs are 51-100. If you roll within the range you called, the target returns to life and is marked by Fate, being unable to revived by any Divine means ever again (Arcane magicks could still bring them back). If you roll within the range you did not call, they do not return to life, and are actually incapable of being returned to life as their soul is sheperded by Varis Tomain himself, or more likely, one of his closest divine servants.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: The target creature may have been dead for up to 1 hour.

Tier III Effects: The target creature may have been dead for up to 1 day.

Manifestation

With bated breath you watch as the little halfling stands over your dearest friend, chanting a small prayer, as he sends a coin flipping into air. You hear the word "heads" muttered by the priest, and as the coin lands, it is indeed heads, as your friend's chest heaves a deep and rattled breath, eyes fluttering open, very much alive.
